Quick Guide to Community

As an admin, learn how to navigate the Community section of the Optix dashboard

In the dashboard, Community refers to the place admins will reach out to their users. Whether it be through announcements, messaging, or using the community feed, you’ll have many opportunities to connect with your users.

On the Community page of your dashboard, you’ll be able to create pop-up announcements, make posts to your community feed, and direct message individuals or groups of users. Just getting started? Here’s some need-to-know information when communicating with users for the first time.

📱 Post to your Feed!

📣 Make sure your users are in-the-know

  • Announcements are a great way to notify your users of any updates you don’t want them to miss. Maybe you’re changing your hours of service or opening your second location? Let users know by creating an announcement.

💬 Contact your users via messaging

  • You can also communicate with users in your workspace via messaging. Users can reach out to you with any questions, comments, or concerns. You can find this in the top left of your admin dashboard, next to your profile photo.
