The Data Exporter app is a free add on to Optix that allows you to generate custom reports for Check-ins and Bookings. Exports are provided in .CSV format and can be opened in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Data can also be imported in to analytics tools such as Tableau.

To install the Data Exporter

  1. Select Apps from the left-hand menu then click Find new apps 
  2. Scroll down and click Data Exporter
  3. Click Install

You will know the app has been successfully installed when you see a 'Data Exporter' option showing on the left hand menu of your admin dashboard.

To generate reports 

  1. Click Data Exporter from the left-hand menu
  2. Choose if you want to create a check-in or booking report
  3. Specify the location(s), date range and fields that you want to include in the report
  4. Click Download 

A .CSV file will be generated. Note that if you are retrieving a large amount of data this may take a minute or two to complete.
