Payments for day Pass / drop-in Users can be supported within your Optix account. How you accomplish this will depend on whether you want to charge the user immediately or on your next organization billing date. 

To charge immediately:

  1. Create a 'Day Pass' Plan and select a billing frequency of 'One time payment'

  2. Add your visitor as a user in Optix

  3. Add a payment method to the user's account from within the 'Account' section of the user side panel 

  4. Assign them the Day Pass Plan with a start date of today 

  5. Create a check-in for the user 

  6. If you do not wish for the user to have continued access to your workplace app, change their status to inactive

Note: If you have auto payments enabled for your organization, the invoice will be paid automatically within one hour. If you do not have auto payments enabled, you can manually trigger the charge for the invoice.

To charge on the next organization billing date:

  1. Add your visitor as a user in Optix

  2. Add a payment method to the user's account from within the 'Account' section of the user side panel 

  3. Create a check-in for the user (make sure you have set a day rate for your location under Settings > Check-ins)

Note: The day rate charge will be added to an invoice with a due date equal to your next organization billing date (e.g. the 1st of next month). If auto payments are enabled no further action is required. If auto payments are not enabled, you will be able to charge the invoice manually on or after the due date.
