Depending on the preferences you set when creating an assignment, the assignment itself could be invoiced in a number of ways:

  • Free: This assignment will be free of charge, and will not be added to any invoices

  • Single Payment: This assignment will be charged on the date you selected when creating the assignment. If you’ve opted to take a refundable deposit, this will also be added as a line item to the invoice.

    If you’d like to return the deposit at the end of the assignment, you can refund the user through your payment gateway or add credit as a line item to their next invoice.

  • Repeating Payment: Similarly, this assignment will be charged on the date you selected when creating the assignment. Note that the initial price will be prorated if the assignment was set to begin in the middle of the month.

    If you’ve opted to take a refundable deposit, this will also be added as a line item to the invoice.

    The assignment will continue to create recurring invoices that are set to be due on the 1st of the month until the end date or will recur indefinitely until a plan is ended manually by an admin.
