How do I move a payment method from a user to a team?

As an admin, learn how to move payment methods from an individual user to their team

Note: All users have a personal account within Optix that they are able to charge items or make bookings for. Team accounts are separate and can have separate payment methods, billing details, allowance and invoice history.

If a particular user is now responsible for a team (as a team admin), they may want to move their personal account's payment method over to their team account's payment method.

  1. On the User page, click on the user you'd like to move payment methods for.

  2. Navigate to the Payment methods section on their account panel

  3. Click the three-dot menu on the right of the payment method

  4. Click Move to team
