What is a Community user?

Community users are people you want to stay connected with (i.e. leads, prospects, past members, or visitors) who are not yet actively paying members of your organization. With the Community status, users can still receive messages and use your app, giving you the chance to re-engage and convert them into active paying members.

Why should I use Community status?

The Community status enables you to:

  • Capture leads and invite them to see the value of being a part of your community with access to the app, events, announcements, group messaging, and more

  • Use Automations to nurture interest and drive conversions to active, paying members

  • Re-engage past members into future revenue opportunities

  • Keep all communication with your entire community centralized in Inbox+ β€” no more jumping between Slack or email

What can Community users do?

Community users have a similar experience to Active users. They can:

  • Log in to the mobile app

  • Receive messages, push notifications, and email updates (including automations)

  • View and interact with most features in the app

Note: You cannot update an Active user to Community if they:

  • Have an active or upcoming plan (including via a team)

  • Have an active or upcoming booking or assignment

When does a Community user become Active?

Community users are automatically upgraded to Active if they:

  • Purchase or are assigned a plan (including through a team)

  • Make or receive a booking

  • Receive an assignment

  • Purchase a pass or a product

  • Check in to your space

How much does a Community user cost?

Community users will incur $0.20/user ($0.10/user for Scale Subscription).
