A Delay is a type of Control that allows you to add time delays between steps in your Automations. This helps you to space out actions and manage the timing of your processes more effectively.

For example, in an Optix Automation designed to follow up with new prospective Users who book a tour at your space:

  1. Trigger: New Tour Booking

  2. Delay: Wait for 7 days

  3. Action: Send an email

    1. "Hey there, how was your tour of our space last week?"

To add a Delay into your Automation:

  1. Click on Choose an action

  2. Click on Delay

  3. Input your chosen Delay time

  4. Click Done
