How do I send an automated message to only team admins vs. the whole team?

Learn how to specify that a message in an Automation only sends to the Team Admin, instead of sending to the whole Team.

Automations are a great way to automatically send messages to Teams within your Optix dashboard. You can choose what Trigger you would like to begin the Automation, and then choose the Send a message Step.

When sending a message to a Team in an Automation, you can also choose whether you want to message to send to the entire Team or only to the Team's Admin.

To edit this setting in your Automation:

  1. Open the Send a message action

  2. Click on Advanced

  3. Select one of the 2 options:

    1. Message only the team admins
      OR

    2. Message each team member
