How do I bulk import Users from Stripe?

As an admin, learn how to migrate User information from Stripe into Optix

Adding your Users into Optix is quick and easy. Follow the instructions below to import your existing Users. 

Importing Users from Stripe

If your organization is currently using Stripe to process your User's payments, you can transition all of your Users and/or just their credit card information, over to Optix. Here is what we can migrate over for you:

  • Their first and last name

  • Their email address

  • Their payment method stored in Stripe

If you are importing all Users from your Stripe account:

  1. Integrate with Stripe in the Apps & Integrations tab of your dashboard

  2. Using the Import tool, select 'Create Users'

Note: You are not able to select 'some' Users to migrate. With the Stripe migration, we are only able to migrate all Stripe Users or none.

If you want to import only some of your Users from your Stripe account:

  1. Integrate with Stripe in the Apps & Integrations tab of your dashboard

  2. Upload your Users into Optix.

  3. Ensure that all of your Stripe Users' emails match the email associated with their Optix account. The email address is the key indicator for matching data across Stripe and Optix – if these do not match, no payment method will be imported.

  4. Using the Import tool, select 'Do not create Users'
