How I can run a promotion for new members or incentivize memberships?

As an admin, learn how to create an Automation that helps you run promotions, upsell memberships and encourage annual or longterm commitment

Using Automations, Optix can help you automate running promotions and incentives for certain memberships. A few examples of common incentives include:

  • Annual members receive their 12th month free

  • Presale or "Founder Membership" sales that offer an early sign-up bonus

  • Free Hot Desk Day Pass after 10th visit

To build an Automation that will automatically apply credit or Allowance to your Users' accounts, you'll want to start by:

  1. Selecting your trigger. Using the examples above, this would either 'New Plan' or 'Resource Booking'.

  2. Apply a delay if relevant. This will be determined by your incentive program.

  3. Select your action to be either 'Add Invoice Item' to apply credit to a User's account or 'Add Allowance'.

  4. You may also want to add a 4th step of 'Send Message' to let the User know they have just received the promotion.
