In an effort to improve the Optix user experience, we have introduced a number of changes to the look and feel of the Optix mobile apps. Here's a run down of what's changing in the next couple of weeks! Be sure to download the next update from the app store to experience it for yourself.
A new home screen
The home screen has been redesigned to efficiently link to the most common user functions including bookings and check-ins. For quicker bookings, Optix will now suggest available rooms. It is also home to a redesigned 'Getting started' section where you can easily access key venue information (such as the WiFi password!).
Easy access to messages
Messages can now be accessed from any screen by clicking the message icon in the top right corner of the app!
Improved navigation on Android
App navigation is now consistent across iOS and Android devices with a refreshed menu bar running along the bottom of the screen. Users can easily access the home, community and connect screens, with the more screen housing all other Optix functions.
A dedicated home for the community feed
We have moved the community feed to its own dedicated space on the Community screen in order to provide users a go to place for engaging in conversations with fellow users!
Connections made easier
Connecting and collaborating with other users is a huge part of the co-working experience and to support this we have completely designed the connect screen in Optix. It is now easier than ever to connect with colleagues and other users of the space. You can also see who is new and learn about the other companies and teams working out of the space.
