Bookings analytics is designed to help you understand the bookings made by your users over a selected date range. To learn more about date ranges, please visit our FAQ here. The report allows you to toggle between room bookings (Meeting Rooms, Conference Rooms, and Private Offices) and desk bookings (Hot Desks and Dedicated Desks).

Within the bookings analytics, you will see a Booked vs. Available graph or a Bookings vs. Attendence graph, depending on whether or not your venue is equipped with beacons.

Venues without Beacons

The Booked vs. Available graph displays the total hours available for bookings over a selected date range. This graph also displays the total hours booked by users, which helps to understand how much spaces are being utilized.

The faint purple denotes total number of booking hours available, while the dark purple shows the number of those hours which were booked.

The KPIs below the graph provide you further insight:

  • Bookings: This is the total number of bookings made over the selected date range
  • Booked: This is the cumulative duration of bookings made over the selected date range
  • % Booked: This is the cumulative duration of all bookings made divided by the possible bookable time (Booked divided by Available)
  • Avg. Duration: This is the average duration of all bookings made over the selected date range

Below each KPI is the percentage change since the previous time period of the same duration.

Beacon Enabled Venues

The Bookings vs. Attendance graph displays the total hours booked by users over a selected date range. This graph also displays the total hours attended by users, which helps to understand how often users are attending their bookings.

The faint purple denotes total number of booking hours made, while the dark purple shows the number of those hours which the user actually attended. The faint purple includes both “abandoned bookings” (where the user attended less than 50% of the booking time) as well as “ghost bookings” (where the user did not attend the meeting at all). This measurement is based on single person occupancy.

The KPIs below the graph provide you further insight:

  • Bookings: This is the total number of bookings made over the selected date range
  • Attended: This is the total number of bookings attended over the selected date range. In order to “attend” a booking, a user must remain in the room or at the desk for more than 50% of the booking duration.
  • % Attended: This is the percentage of attended bookings over the selected date range (Attended divided by Bookings)
  • Avg. Duration: This is the average duration of all bookings made over the selected date range

Below each KPI is the percentage change since the previous time period of the same duration.
