In order to move items from a Pending invoice to a Due (due date is today) or Upcoming (due date is in the future) invoice you must go to the Pending invoice and click Charge Early. This feature will allow you to select only the items you want to charge for and will allow you to select a date payment is due by.
In this example, a plan with a setup fee has been assigned to a user, this generated a pending invoice with the pro-rated portion of the plan for the remainder of the month, the setup fee and next month's charge. We want to Charge Early for the pro-rated portion and the setup fee. 👇
Why you might Charge Early:
- Pro-rated charges that occur due to starting plan assignment mid-month no longer automatically generate an invoice due today (August 2019 Invoice Updates).
- You've included a Refundable Deposit in a plan assignment, similar to pro-rated charges these no longer show up in an invoice due today, instead placed on the Pending invoice.
- You've included a Setup Fee in a plan assignment, these also no longer show up in an invoice due today, instead they are place don the Pending invoice.
To Charge Early for items you will need to visit the Pending invoice and use the Charge Early button to select the items you want to charge early [now] for.
